Can I use this keypad outside?
Yes, it is IP66 rated and totally protected against dust and protection against heavy seas, or powerful jets of water

Will this keypad use any standard Wiegand 125khz 26 bit EM-RFID format card or key fob?
Yes it can use either or a combination of both

Do you program key fobs or cards via the keypad?
Yes, it's so simple to do

Can I use just key fobs or cards for access?
You can use any combination of either card or key fob & code, code only or card or key fob only - it's fantastic!!

Can I add an extra exit button?
Yes

Can I use two keypads to access and exit a door?
Yes

If I wanted two keypads, can I program the same key fobs/cards to activate both units?

What does 4 - 8 PIN with or without # mean?
It simply means that you can have a 4 - 8 digit PIN code for the master code as well as a 4 - 8 digit PIN code for users. Some customers do not wish to enter the # button for PIN confirmation, with the K301 keypads you can have either

Tech Tips
It is advisable to periodically clean the keypad facia to prevent ingress of dirt or general grime which will accumulate between the buttons and could cause the keypad buttons to become "Sticky". This is common with all mechanical moving parts and more so dependent upon the installation area and general usage, however, regular preventive maintenance will ensure long lasting operation of the item
